    Job Title: Senior Environmental Planner

    Description

    We are seeking a skilled Senior Environmental Planner to contribute to our project teams in developing and implementing planning and permitting strategies related to watershed and restoration planning, infrastructure siting, and redevelopment activities.

    This role involves overseeing tasks related to permit applications, technical studies and reports, environmental assessments, and environmental impact statements. You will interact directly with clients, agencies, and other consultant teams, as well as support overall project management.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive environmental compliance strategies;
    • Support environmental review efforts, including environmental impact statements required by local, state, and federal regulations;
    • Prepare application materials and complete land use and development code documentation;
    • Interface with clients, agencies, other consultants, and the public;
    • Support development and management of scopes, budgets, and schedules.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree;
    • 8+ years of experience in environmental planning or permitting;
    • Experience conducting environmental reviews of project proposals for compliance with local, state, and/or federal regulations;
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
    • Ability to work independently and well in a team environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Oregon state and local permitting requirements;
    • Experience with land use planning development code compliance;
    • Conducting surveys for protected plants, wildlife, and/or fish;
    • Conducting wetland delineations;
    • Conducting habitat assessments and special status habitat inventories.

    What We Offer

    • Competitive compensation package, including salary range $97,000-$123,000 annually;
