    Job Description

    TTI Power Equipment is looking for a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team at the Wellford, SC Distribution Center. As part of the role, you will handle installation, maintenance, and repairs of material handling equipment.     Machine

    • Troubleshoot and provide technical support for automated warehouse distribution/manufacturing processes and equipment.
    • Read and understand manufacturer's instructions, engineering specifications, sketches, and diagrams to diagnose and troubleshoot abnormalities.
    • Complete preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and perform repair works on complex industrial machines.
    • Ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of machinery and mechanical gadgets.
    • Apply lubricants or other materials to machines in accordance with procedures.
    • Comprehend general maintenance aspects and execute daily Preventative Maintenance on equipment.
    • Exhibit a strong understanding of Electrical and Pneumatic systems for troubleshooting.
    • Carry out maintenance examinations and fixes to guarantee proper system operations.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    HVAC

    • Lead HVAC filter changes, belt replacements, and coil cleanings.
    • Program building management systems and check for proper operation of HVAC equipment.
    • Modify and install natural gas, compressed air, and water piping systems as required.
    • Weld, braze, and repair piping associated with HVAC installations.

    Electrical

    • Interpret electrical circuit diagrams and blueprints.
    • Install conduit, conductors, junction boxes, switches, and lighting systems as needed.
    • Conduct electrical preventative maintenance and repair/replacement of electrical components.

    Plumbing

    • Repair or replace faucets, valves, toilets, fixtures, and other plumbing systems as needed.
    • Winterize piping systems as required.

    Carpentry

    • Repair broken windows, doors, walls, and ceiling tiles as needed.
    • Install and repair door locks, closures, racking systems, and other carpentry tasks as required.

    Safety

    • Comply with all safety policies and standards associated with facilities operations.
    • Be proactive in adhering to safety standards.

    Miscellaneous

    • Fill in for Facilities Supervisor when needed and perform other maintenance-related tasks.
    • Assist with energy audits and other maintenance staff as required.
    • Maintain control of tools and clean shop area.
    • Perform other preventative maintenance tasks on building and systems.
    • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience with facilities/robotic machine tending in a manufacturing environment.
    • 4-5 years of Machine Maintenance experience with advanced electrical knowledge.
    • 2-3 years of experience in electrical controls, logic controls, and robotic systems.
    • Supervisory skills and excellent communication abilities.
    • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Requirements:

    • Associates Degree in mechatronics or equivalent experience.
    • Advanced training in robotics and familiarity with communication protocols.
