    Summary You will serve as a REGIONAL DISPATCH CENTER MANAGER in the OPERATIONS AND REGION PUBLIC SAFETY DIVISION of COMNAVREG MIDLANT NORFOLK.

    Responsibilities Manage a regional dispatch center for an organization. You will monitor workforce performance to identify training and development needs for employees. Advise employees, supervisors, and managers on regulations and workforce planning policies. Develop long range plans (e.g., future staffing requirements, system requirements, integrating other organizations) for regional dispatch center coverage.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Planning and directing an emergency dispatch operation program; 2.) Experience developing emergency dispatch instructions, policies and procedures; 3.) Experience conducting analysis of an emergency dispatch program's effectiveness of new dispatch systems or procedures.
