    ProKatchers is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Herrin, Illinois.

    Job Description & Requirements

    • Specialty: Surgical Technologist

    • 36 hours per week
    • Shift: 10 hours, days
    • Employment Type: Travel

    Shift: days a week with rotating day off throughout the week/1 weeknight and 2 weekend days a month for call requirements.

    Work Experience:
    • Assists in transportation and positioning of patients
    • Assists in assembling and dismantling of tables and instruments before and after procedure
    • Prepares patient and room for the planned surgical procedures.
    • Opens sterile supplies and sets up for procedures
    • Completes skin preparation and draping
    • Assist Surgeon with gowning and gloving
    • Assist surgeon by passing instruments and suture
    Education:
    High School diploma or equivalent

    License:

    Certified Surgical Technologist exam through NBSTSA or NCCT

    Certifications:

    BLS/CPR Certification.
