Job Title: Family Advocacy Program Clinical Counselor at Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS)

MCCS is seeking skilled individuals to join their team in providing comprehensive services to support active duty Marines, their families, and other members of the Marine Corps Community.

We are looking for candidates who can deliver exceptional Family Advocacy Program (FAP) services to clients, addressing a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive FAP services to active duty Marines and their families
Provide non-medical counseling, assessments, and interventions
Conduct psychosocial assessments and safety planning
Facilitate psycho-educational groups on various topics
Complete and maintain necessary documentation
Collaborate with military and civilian agencies
Provide world-class customer service

Requirements:

Minimum Master's or Doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field
Current licensure in clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, or related discipline
2+ years of experience in child and domestic abuse counseling
Training in PSB-CY, child development, and trauma-informed care
Ability to provide non-medical clinical counseling services
Knowledge of family dynamics and legal issues related to abuse
Strong case management skills

Experience in military or civilian settings is preferred.
