Oregon Metal Fabrication has been in the industry for nearly 20 years, and is continuing to grow. We produce commercial,industrial, structural, and custom metal fabrication. The work environment is fast paced, meaning material, consumables, subcomponents, hardware, and other supplies are depleted rapidly. We are looking for a candidate that can coordinate logistics, and execute inventory and purchasing processes.

This position will ensure we always have the supplies we need, when we need them, and we have a schedule of receiving and shipping which coincides with client schedules.

The ideal Candidate:
The perfect person will manage theirtime well, stay organized, and take pride in their work. They will actively plan ahead, review will call orders, deliveries, and project schedules.

They will track progressive shipping, vendor lead times from drop off to pick up, client deadlines, and truck availability to coordinate shipping and receiving.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge trucking to account for weight, size, and carrier capabilities.

General skills needed:
Computer proficiency (high)
Professional Communication (written / verbal)
Planning and Organization (schedule and paperwork)

Example Duties:
Review project schedules
Draft Bill of Laden
Coordinate shipping (internal and carrier)
Populate schedule with receiving / shipping dates
Record BOLs
