Act as primary administrative support for school Chair providing office related services including correspondence and report preparation maintaining files meeting arrangements related functions May be responsible for setting employee goals assessing employee performance providing feedback making pay recommendations This position will interact on consistent basis with Chair and Associate Chairs Dean School faculty members staff students visitors This position typically will advise counsel Manage calendar coordinate meetings make travel arrangements plan events Prepare correspondence reports assist collecting statistical data conduct analyses report preparation presentations Maintain office filing system Provide administrative support Associate Chair s directed Assist coordination administrative tasks faculty searches Make travel arrangements process travel-related reimbursements Assist logistics conference planning seminars special school events development activities Process HR paperwork research faculty new hires department affiliates immigration paperwork Oversee PCard transactions order supplies process registrations fulfill approved requests faculty staff students Ensure all required documentation submitted purchases accurately tracked Plan coordinate departmental events travel arrangements venue reservations catering equipment needs both on- campus functions Support faculty recruitment initiating interview process serving primary point contact candidates Manage faculty annual review ensure compliance institute requirements Interpret communicate administrative policies develop internal procedures alignment institute guidelines Utilize PROMOTE system manage academic promotion tenure research faculty promotion critical review processes behalf Chair Coordinate unit purchasing activities preparing documentation ordering supplies managing vendor relationships Review approve correspondence OneUSG Workday transactions behalf Chair Certify monthly time reporting faculty staff Provide administrative support Associate Chairs needed Maintain departmental listservs phone directories file systems Assist onboarding offboarding faculty staff Respond emails manage Chairs inbox calendar Provide general assistance needed
