- Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently.
- Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints
- Develops optimized scheduling tools and aligns SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints.
- Incorporates complex interdependencies within a system to account for the interaction of multiple cost centers, programs, equipment, and tools.
- Communicates requirements planning and systems framework with IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teams.
- Works with developers to design an interactive user interface that will be effective at scheduling jobs across cost centers.
- Guides digital transformation efforts to align with sector and enterprise strategies.
- Leads and drives positive change using iterative and agile methodologies.
- Creates new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance
- Bachelor's degree with 1 or more years of engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; OR a Master's degree with 0 or more years of engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience
- Manufacturing Execution System (MES), MRP/SAP/Oracle or related experience
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, excel, including macros and pivot tables.
- Experience with data mining, data analysis, or data visualization software applications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Security Clearance and special program access in reasonable amount of time as required by the business prior to commencement of employment
- Defense Industry Experience.
- Active Secret DOD clearance and Special Program Access
- Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) Degree
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience of engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience.
- Experience with SQL, VBA, or other programming languages.
- Experience with improving manufacturing workflow using optimization, modeling, or simulation methods.
- Familiarity with mixed model manufacturing operations.
- Experience with agile methods of project management or development.
- Strong experience designing visualizations in Tableau in a professional work environment

Salary Range:
$68,500 - $102,700 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives
