    Job Summary


    The Informatica Master Data Management Developer III is responsible for implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of L.A. Care's enterprise-level data architecture using Informatica Power Center tool, Informtica MDM Multi domain-10.2. The position will work as part of a team comprised of a project manager, business analysts, and other members of the technical staff to use test-driven development techniques to develop and implement MDM/data management processes to support sequencing and analysis efforts.

    Participate in contingency planning and risk mitigation, task planning and estimation at work stream level. Identifies, solves issues effectively per assigned tasks. Performs work assessment and evaluation through status reporting and facilitated team meetings. Reports the work progress and contingency planning to its supervisor and or stakeholder as appropriate. Adhere to L.A. Care's SDLC methodology for development. Develops and maintains work documentation based on internal standards, guidelines and best practices. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert, serves as a resource and mentor for other staff.

    Duties


    Implement, maintenance, and enhance L.A. Care's enterprise-level data architecture.

    Use test-driven development techniques to develop and implement MDM/data management processes to support sequencing and analysis efforts.

    Work with Business Analysts and Data Modelers to understand requirements and translate business requirements to workflow designs.

    Design, develop and unit test sustainable database ETL/MDM applications to support those requirements.

    Create technical design documents that capture source to target mapping, define transformation algorithms, and document data quality rules.

    Participate in project planning, providing work breakdown and estimates, provide acceptance criteria.

    Applies subject expertise in evaluating business operations and processes. Identifies areas where technical solutions would improve business performance. Consults across business operations, providing mentorship, and contributing specialized knowledge. Ensures that the facts and details are correct so that the project's/program's deliverable meets the needs of the department, organization and legislation's policies, standards, and best practices.Provides training, recommends process improvements, and mentors junior level staff, department interns, etc. as needed.

    Education Required


    Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Related FieldIn lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

    Experience


    Required:

    Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an Informatica MDM Developer with at least 3 years experience in Health Care/Managed Care.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in Informatica MDM, Product 360, ActiveVOS (BPM) products with at least one year of experience specifically in Active VOS, minimum of 2 years of experience in MDM, Minimum of 1 year of experience in Business Entity Services (BES). Experience on Informatic Data Quality like Profiling, Data Parsing, Standardization and Cleansing. Experience with Informatica Data Quality as a service in SOA or Web Services architecture. Experienced in custom IDD Screen Development.

    Experienced in custom MDM and IDD User Exits. Experienced in integration between Informatica MDM with ActiveVOS and SIF and IDD. Experienced in ActiveVOS workflow design and development, creation of Human task. Experience documenting design specs, unit test results etc. Experience with working with business partners to translate business requirements to workflow designs.

    Skills


    Required:

    Knowledge of the SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).

    Knowledge of JSON, JAVA development, SOAP UI, WSDL File.

    Good Knowledge on ActiveVOS Error and Fault handing, Event Handling, Gateway, Control Flow, PDD File and ABC Config file, Email Service, JDBC Service.

    Good written and oral communication skills.

    Basic knowledge of data models and SQL.

    Working knowledge of MS Office, Visio, project plan.

    Ability to articulate and follow the project management and SDLC lifecycles.

    Able to identify and suggest elements in original designs that should be reviewed to make them more standards/web compliant.

    Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.

    Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

    Strong design skills with ability to rapidly iterate through prototypes.
