- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely financial reporting to management.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial projections and monitor performance against targets.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management for optimizing financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls, and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes, implement best practices, and drive efficiencies within the finance function.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and systems to support the company's growth and expansion initiatives.
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the finance team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards, including GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with QuickBooks online and MS dynamics preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, analyze trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
