    You have a background in sales planning, accounting or finance with management experience under your belt.

    You're looking to join a growing business where you will partner cross functionally to influence decision making and become the Wholesale finance expert.

    You will lead and develop a team of analysts in support of delivering against our strategic goals. You get the Dr. Martens brand and are excited to support our growth plans across America.

    THE GIG
    Support FP&A Director in the creation of the annual Wholesale budget, working with business partners to develop key assumptions, Opex needs, Capex requirements, etc
    Drive the monthly Wholesale forecast processes, partnering with the Sales Planning and Sales Support teams to update key assumptions, outline potential risks and opportunities, and proactively making recommendations
    Support the monthly Sales & Operations reporting package, improving the process monthly and providing insight on prior months' performance relative to forecast that delivers impactful insights and helps tell the business and financial story
    Partner with global counterparts to drive best-in-class reporting/forecasting/modeling across the global wholesale organization

    Leverage analyst in creation and updating of financial analyses, models, budgets, forecasts, monthly variance reporting, ad hoc data inquiries, etc.


    Types of analysis may include:
    Wholesale Orderbook analysis, by order type, product type, and customer; Collaborating with Sales Ops and Planning teams in managing and tracking orderbook movement, ensuring data accuracy and raising awareness of risks and opportunities; Wholesale Cash Flow, Trade Debtors and Days Sales Outstanding reporting; Wholesale Customer Profitability, including understanding specific customer agreements and their impacts on total business margins and EBITDA; OPEX reviews to ensure correct accruals and updating spend forecasts to be in line with findings
    Part of FP&A Leadership to help lead, coach, and develop existing team of financial analysts
    Automate, refine and enhance financial reporting and KPIs to ensure clear, consistent and impactful reporting
    Work with business intelligence tools to extract relevant data; work with BI team members to gather data
    Stay current on footwear industry trends and developments; stay current with the latest analytics trends and developments

    THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART
    Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
    5+ year's relevant planning/analysis experience, preferably in footwear, fashion, or related industry.
    2+ years' experience leading/developing a team is preferred.

    Experience with analytical tools like Google Analytics, Hybris, Power BI to understand and visualize Ecommerce and Retail KPI and business performance.

    Confidence to build credibility quickly with stakeholders within and outside of the Finance function.
    Strong business and financial acumen. Proven ability to think creatively with strong problem-solving skills.
    Constantly maintaining a questioning mind-set, willing to dig deeper into the data to understand the key drivers.
    Results oriented mind-set with proven record of driving continuous improvement.
    Experienced on leveraging both financial and non-financial data, identifying key drivers of performance, spotting trends.

    Ability to draw concise and crisp conclusion from complex and detailed data, presenting high quality analysis to drive decision making.

    Ability to marry both financial and non-financial data to get behind the numbers to identify key drivers of performance and spot trends
    Proven ability working in a hands-on fast-moving environment to agreed deadlines that may require a rapid turnaround.
    Ability to work at a standard computer set up 40+ hours per week.

    International travel:
    up to 10%; domestic travel: up to 10%.
