    Job DescriptionNews Internship (Paid) - WINK News


    Are you passionate about journalism? Eager to dive into the world of broadcast news? WINK News is looking for motivated individuals to join our News Internship Program.

    Gain hands-on experience, work with our experienced team, and contribute to compelling news and content.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research: Assist in researching news stories.
    • Producer Training: Choose stories, stack rundowns and write for broadcast news.
    • Shadow Reporters: Learn from field reporters and their activities.
    • Story Development: Contribute ideas and attend editorial meetings.
    • News Gathering: Join reporters on assignments, assist with interviews, gather visual/audio elements.
    • Editing: Gain experience with video and audio editing software.
    • General Support: Assist with administrative tasks.
    Qualifications:

    • Strong written and verbal communication.
    • Enthusiasm for news and current events.
    • Deadlinedriven and detailoriented.
