    Description

    Position type: Contract to hire

    Location: 95% remote, occasional travel on-site occasionally to D.C.

    Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team to oversee the operation of corporate business applications, underlying architecture, and understand business requirements and trends. The right candidate should have 5+ years of experience and experience working with Costpoint SME.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot and rapidly assess and address the risks, functional and technical issues, and their impacts on the financial application and the supporting IT infrastructure.
    • Work with senior leadership and C-Suite level executives along with the user community to integrate new applications, automate data flows, and simplify technical environment while increasing data integrity.
    • Work closely and provide guidance to those responsible for maintaining the corporate infrastructure, applications, and databases.
    • Create and maintain training documentation and conduct training.
    • Thorough understanding of SQL and other tools to extract, transform and integrate data.
    • Support internal control efforts in conjunction with ITGC compliance program.
    • Foster and maintain positive relationships with Business Systems team members and customers across the enterprise inclusive of senior leadership.
    • Develop methods for implementing new products and customizations to existing applications, ensuring thorough testing and user acceptance is done prior to implementation.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's in computer science, information systems/technology, accounting or related
    • 7-10 years of experience in application database and design
    • Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, and SQL
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
    • Ability to travel to headquarters (D.C.) for occasional meetings.
