MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and understand complex project solicitations
Submit RFI's through the design process
Work with end users to assess their needs to develop cost effective systems
Provide support for site surveys, client meetings and walk-throughs
Develop Bill of Materials with associated cost
Develop Scope of Work to go along with Bill of Materials
Complete client proposal to include labor estimates, travel, shipping, etc.
Actively work with manufacturers for product registrations and discounts
Provide technical support to project managers
Keep up to date records and archive work
Provide reports to SE of the status of projects


MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop functional line drawings and infrastructure for complete drawing packages using AutoCAD and/or Visio.
Provide technical support to installation teams, field engineers and service technicians.


QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years in Design/Engineering Role
Working knowledge of basic network typography as it pertains to AV to include streaming audio and video protocols.
AVIXA CTS certification is required
Additional CTS-I and/or CTS-D preferred.

Working knowledge of audio-visual manufactures product lines to include but not limited to: Extron, Q-Sys, Crestron, BiAmp, Logitech, Cisco, Poly, Barco, etc.

Continued enthusiasm to learn new product lines
Ability to work outside regular business hours when needed
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge of various collaboration platforms to include Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.
Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
Ability to be flexible and work in a fast past engineering environment with strict deadlines.
Ability to be on-site 5 days a week in Chester County, PA
