    Job Highlights

    Maintain Core Values:

    Technology Guardian responsible to develop and design chemical manufacturing processes.
    Apply the principles of chemistry and mathematics to solve problems that involve production
    Proactively identify and lead opportunities to improve production KPIs using a data-driven approach
    Provide functional and technical leadership for capital projects execution
    Execute projects in compliance with internal guidelines (FEL 1, FEL 2, FEL 3)
    Track improvements resulting from projects (cost, quality etc.)
    Drive continuous improvement and increased reliability incident investigations and through the use of regular Root Cause Failure Analysis(RCFA) tools and work with Operations to set minimum level of incident that would mandate use of RCFA
    Coordinate requirements with technology development/marketing etc.
    Track changes to standard operating conditions (SOC)
    Interface with production to guarantee operations is running within standard operating conditions
    Process Safety Manager driving compliance with LANXESS HSEQ policies and procedures with agreed timelines
    Ensure timely completion of process hazard analysis & ensure no overdue action items
    Evaluate final product's overall performance, quality and safety

    Owner of the Lab:
    make sure that sampling and tests are being done according to quality standards
    Assist in trouble shooting due to complaints from internal/ external customers
    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
    A minimum of 5+ years' engineering experience in a production
    Troubleshooting and proactive problem solving skills
    Time and project management experience, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
    Must have good interpersonal and cross functional skills with the ability to interact/present at all organizational levels
