    Join our Central Materials team as a Senior International Material Planner where you will play a crucial role in planning and system management, focusing on optimizing inventory and ensuring materials are efficiently allocated across our manufacturing processes.     How You'll Contribute:

    Manufacturing Support:

    Analyze and validate inventory transactions to guarantee accuracy.

    Utilize Oracle to assess material requirements, aligning with manufacturing schedules over an 8-to-12-week horizon.

    Serve as a liaison among various departments to facilitate effective communication and material scheduling.

    Ensure operational readiness by managing materials availability, adhering to production demands.

    Apply Oracle insights to balance supply and demand, working closely with the Master Scheduler to adjust as necessary.

    Part Management:

    Manage scheduling for designated part numbers, maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring systematic accuracy.

    Spearhead initiatives aimed at reducing inventory while satisfying customer service and operational goals.

    Guide supplier interactions to ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.

    Planning System Management:

    Champion Lean initiatives to enhance material flow and workstation efficiency, considering the entire Value Stream.

    Cultivate strong relationships with Material Management across all supported facilities.

    Mentor cross-functional teams on Lean principles and material flow optimization, providing essential training and documentation.

    SOP Documentation and Oracle Training:

    Act as a Subject Matter Expert, mentoring junior planners in Oracle and process documentation.

    Manage and refine the Product Change Notification (PCN) process related to material functions.

    What We Expect from You:

    Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

    At least 5 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain, with a proven track record in Lean Supply Chain methodologies.

    Strong analytical skills, adept at data analysis to drive planning decisions.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with a solid understanding of Oracle/SAP or similar ERP systems.

    Flexibility to work off-shifts, weekends, and occasionally holidays, embracing the necessity for evening and weekend work as required by the role.

    Openness to travel 30-40%, including potential international travel to collaborate with suppliers and visit plant sites.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Advanced degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

    Demonstrated capability in managing high SKU, high velocity manufacturing operations.

    Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of resolving conflicts and ensuring cohesive team dynamics.

    Working Conditions:

    This position operates in a high-volume manufacturing and distribution environment, requiring the use of standard safety equipment.

    Physical demands include lifting up to 30 pounds and frequent walking within the manufacturing plant.

    The role requires a hands-on approach and a readiness to address critical shipments and operational demands beyond standard working hours.
