Job Title:
Mold Setup Technician
We are looking for a Mold Setup Technician to join our night shift team. The primary responsibilities for this role include changing and setting up mold machines and providing maintenance support to maximize production efficiency. This role offers a clear path for growth and the potential to become a Master Technician.
The successful candidate will be required to remove and set up die/tooling for each run and troubleshoot malfunctions of the injection machine.
If you are unable to complete a repair, you'll call in our maintenance team for support.After a run is completed, you will remove all wires and hoses to pull the tooling and molds out of the press.
Once everything is removed, you will select the new tooling, place it within the machine, and hook up all the necessary wires and hoses to ensure the tooling is ready for the Process Technician.
As a Mold Setup Technician, you'll be supported by Flex Operators.Hard Skills+ Mechanical Aptitude - understanding of tools and ability to assemble/disassemble things mechanically+ Learn or prior understanding of how to use a multi-meterSoft Skills
+ Problem-solving - ability to troubleshoot malfunctions+ Flexibility - ability to handle changing demands of production environment+ Teamwork - ability to work with Flex Operators and maintenance teamJob Type
This is a Contract-to
This is a fully on-site position in Bardstown, Kentucky.Work Environment
The work environment for this role is on a 1st shift, 2-2-3 schedule from 7pm - 7am. The work setting can be hot and loud, with a noticeable hot plastic smell. The work area is non-climate controlled.
Dress code includes t-shirts, hoodies without strings, sweatshirts, sleeveless tops (that do not show stomach, shoulder, or cleavage areas), jeans, shorts, cargo pockets, basketball shorts, and sweat pants (no leggings, jeggings or any type of spandex).
Shorts should reach near the knee and pants should sit properly at the hip. Closed toe/rubber sole shoes are required. No dangling jewelry is allowed, and necklaces should be inside the shirt. Tattoos and hair color are accepted as long as they are not offensive. Any attire deemed as offensive will be addressed immediately.About Aerotek:
