- Follow defined installation procedures for HVAC/R equipment according to company instructions/policy, manufacturer installation instructions, salesperson notes, and if applicable per instructions of the Lead HVAC Install Technician.
- Identify and solve problems that might prevent the completion of work within budgeted time.
- Complete repairs, improvements, or installations within budgeted hours, in accordance with company standards, while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Start up new equipment and verify correct operation.
- Acquire sufficient knowledge, skills, training, and information to achieve peak performance, continuous improvement, potential advancement, and a positive, productive work environment consistent with company goals and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, co-workers, subcontractors, and others.
- One or more years of general mechanical experience with the willingness to learn and receive training.
- Ability to follow and perform installation procedures for HVAC/R Equipment and troubleshoot problems.
- Ability to follow controls/wiring schematic.
- Ability to braze/solder/weld and perform minor field fabrication.
- Ability to safely use ladders in the performance of job duties including climbing and descending from a ladder.

An HVAC Install Technician is responsible for the installation of HVAC systems in compliance with company standards while providing the client with a high-quality experience. These include HVAC/R equipment, duct systems, fittings, grilles, registers, diffusers, controls, and related equipment.
An ideal candidate will have general mechanical experience, adaptability in a fast-paced work environment, and provide feedback and suggestions on improving quality, reducing costs, and increasing customer satisfaction. They will have the ability to prioritize, close attention to detail, and maintain a high level of customer service, responsiveness, and professional business acumen.
