    The new Veterinary Eye Center of Massachusetts Long Island City seeks to welcome a new, full time Client Care Coordinator to our inaugural team as we look forward to joining the Newton community, providing best in class ophthalmic care for dogs and cats.

    The practice will open its doors on July 22nd.

    The role is responsible for working collaboratively with our clinical staff and doctors as well as independently – it is a wonderful opportunity to use and expand your skills and bodies of knowledge in a boutique specialty environment.

    What You'll Do:
    Greet clients and patients, deliver best in class customer service, and make sure all client questions are answered in an informative and friendly manner
    Communicate and collaborate with staff regarding patient care and client questions
    Document communications and conversations
    Maintain common areas
    Perform intake/discharge duties
    General administrative duties
    Answer multiple phone lines
    Fill/dispense medications per doctor's orders
    Manage the appointment schedule
    Receive payments for services rendered


    What We Need:
    Someone with 1 year or more of veterinary experience in a client facing role
    A candidate with highly evolved written/verbal communication and organizational skills
    Someone that is comfortable around all types of animals – primarily dogs and cats
    A person who is exceptionally organized and has a keen eye for detail
    Someone with the ability to adapt and work well in a busy environment
    A passion for animals
