    COMPANY OVERVIEW
    Tubby Todd is a founder-led, direct-to-consumer ('DTC') family-focused brand providing gentle and effective baby and family personal care products.

    The Company has focused on providing parents with solutions for babies' sensitive skin conditions (including eczema, diaper rash and cradle cap), and has recently launched a broader array of personal care basics for babies, toddlers and moms based on direct feedback from its consumers.

    Tubby Todd sells primarily through its own website today, which has enabled the Company to build a highly engaged community of moms that have been an important driver of the Company's growth.

    Tubby Todd employs an asset-light model with third-party warehousing, distribution and manufacturing all based in the US. Tubby Todd was founded in 2014, employs 25 FTEs and is based outside of San Diego, CA.

    In July 2022, the founders of Tubby Todd partnered with NexPhase Capital, an operationally focused private equity firm, to continue to build on Tubby Todds industry-leading growth.


    POSITION OVERVIEW


    Reporting to the VP of Growth Strategy, the Digital Marketing Manager will be instrumental in defining and executing our digital marketing strategy, with a pronounced emphasis on customer lifecycle management, encompassing email, SMS, and loyalty programs.

    This role is charged with the development, execution, and optimization of digital marketing initiatives to bolster customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth.

    The Digital Marketing Manager will oversee a broad spectrum of projects, ensuring effective collaboration across the marketing and creative departments to deliver cohesive and impactful campaigns.

    Strategic Direction

    • Craft and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy in alignment with Tubby Todds growth ambitions, focusing on advanced customer lifecycle management techniques.
    • Spearhead targeted email and SMS marketing campaigns from inception through to analysis, optimizing them for maximum engagement, conversion rates, and customer loyalty.
    • Manage and refine Tubby Todds loyalty program to effectively drive repeat business and cultivate a robust brand community. Monitor performance against established KPIs.
    • Collaborate with affiliate agency and internal influencer teams with a keen eye on performance metrics to maximize investment returns.
    • Work closely with the VP of Growth Strategy to identify and capitalize on new digital marketing opportunities and technologies that can propel the company toward its strategic objectives.
    Performance Management & Engagement

    • Set and monitor critical performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing campaigns, emphasizing metrics that gauge customer acquisition, engagement, and longevity.
    • Analyze campaign performance data to uncover trends, insights, and optimization opportunities, regularly reporting findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
    • Coordinate with external agencies and creative teams to refine paid advertising, ensuring alignment with our performance targets.
    • Promote an ethos of experimentation and continual enhancement, encouraging the team to explore new strategies, tools, and technologies to augment campaign efficacy.
    • Leverage Customer Data Platforms to tailor marketing strategies that resonate with data-driven insights.
    Digital Marketing Execution & Operations

    • Ensure the integration of digital marketing initiatives across all channels, including the website, social media, and paid advertising, in close cooperation with the marketing and creative teams.
    • Manage the digital marketing calendar to guarantee the timely execution of campaigns and their alignment with broader marketing strategies and product launches.
    • Stay updated on digital marketing trends and best practices, particularly regarding email marketing, SMS marketing, and customer loyalty programs, and apply these insights to our strategic planning.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    • A minimum of 5-8 years of digital marketing experience, showcasing strong analytical skills and a background in customer lifecycle management and the execution of multi-channel campaigns.
    • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline, with a Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., digital marketing or CRM management) considered an asset.
    • Proficient project management skills, capable of leading cross-departmental projects, managing deadlines, and achieving objectives.
    • Exceptional analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and metrics pertinent to digital marketing and customer lifecycle management. Ability to use data to create actionable insights.
    • Adept in Klaviyo, Wunderkind, Attentive, and CDPs, with a focus on analytics and performance monitoring. Experience with Shopify and Triple Whale a plus. Must be familiar with office suite, with intermediate excel skills.
    • An intermediate understanding of SEO, with the ability to track and report on keyword performance and other critical metrics.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting complex strategies and outcomes to stakeholders at various levels.
