    *Job Title: *Program Assistant

    *Program: *Community Based Services

    *Job Status: *Full-Time;Non-Exempt

    *Location: *Edmond, Oklahoma

    *Reports To: *Prevention Program Manager

    *Supervises: *N/A

    *Details: *40 hours/week; on site

    *Position Overview*The main objective of the Program Assistant will be to provide support to our statewide Mental Health First Aid Oklahoma program and the Substance Use Prevention Alliance coalition in Oklahoma County by garnering community engagement through events and outreach, as well as performing daily administrative tasks. The Program Assistant will keep track of physical inventory, order supplies, schedule community events, pay vendors, book travel, check emails, answer phone calls, and welcome guests.


    The Program Assistant will have the ability to make an impact by instilling trust and providing a multitude of resources to members of their community.

    The Program Assistant will oversee the tracking of learner progress via an online Learning Management System.

    This will include creating courses and learner accounts, providing technical support to learners, tracking course completion, and submitting help requests.

    Additionally, they will also have opportunities to be creative and work on passion projects that pertain to DCCCA's mission.


    Our ideal candidate will be service-oriented and appreciate a role that is highly structured with the occasional need for flexibility.

    They will also be analytical with strong attention to detail.

    The individual in this role will also ideally run the office social media accounts, so experience with marketing or social media is a plus.

    *Education, Experience, and Licensure*· Requires a high school diploma or General Education Diploma; Bachelor's degree is preferred

    • Candidates applying should be comfortable with community outreach, problem-solving, active communication and time management
    • Requires a minimum of one year of experience with a non-profit organization, or two years of customer service experience
    • Must possess a valid state Driver's License, in force automobile liability insurance, and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization's insurability standard as defined by DCCCA policy. Reliable transportation is required for this position.
    *Physical Requirements*· Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time

    • Work at a computer for extended periods of time, sitting or standing
    • Operate successfully in an environment in which mentally and emotionally stressful topics may be discussed or trained, i.e. substance use disorder, mental health conditions, domestic abuse, etc.
    • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
    *Travel*· This position requires travel, which may include driving personal or company-owned vehicles


    Note:

    Even with a valid driver's license, certain motor vehicle infractions may render individual's ineligible to drive company-owned or personal vehicles for company business.

    Such infractions may also disqualify employees from continued employment with DCCCA, Inc. This is a safety sensitive position.
