    Position Title Hall Director (HD), Friar Foundations
    Overview
    Serve and support a diverse student population participating in the Friar Foundations program.

    Responsible for creating a residential atmosphere that is conducive to the intellectual, personal, social, and spiritual development of program participants.

    Help to lead and supervise the Resident Assistant/Mentor (RA/M) staff.

    Essential Duties:

    • In consultation with the Program Coordinator, oversee the daily operation of the program's residence hall through the implementation of all policies and procedures related to assignments, maintenance, and conduct matters. Must be available for emergencies, and inform supervisor of all activities, issues, and emergencies within the residence hall.
    • Develop and maintain a healthy and productive resident community by planning, supporting, implementing, and evaluating programming. Maintain the College's rules, regulations, and policies. Submit incident reports according to established procedures as set forth by the Friar Foundations program.
    • Be accessible and visible to residents. Be aware of and responsive to residents' needs, interests, and concerns. Respond appropriately to confidential matters. Make appropriate referrals to other college offices, as necessary and appropriate.
    • Assist in the training, supervision, and evaluation of the performance of the Resident Assistant/Mentors. Attend all program staff training sessions and meetings.
