    Position Summary:

    The Human Resources (HR) Senior Manager is responsible for the strategic management of Lakeland Care, Inc.'s (LCI) organizational HR operations. The position oversees the design, development, administration, and communication of employee-related policies and initiatives to foster strong workforce culture and practices, while aligning to LCI's overall business strategies. The HR Senior Manager role also ensures all HR programs, policies and practices are consistently administered in compliance with federal and state law, regulatory requirements, and industry market best practice.

    Responsibilities & Competencies:
    • Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship that mirrors the adopted mission, vision, and values of Lakeland Care.
    • Assist in planning for LCI's long-term success. Develop HR's strategic plan to align with LCI's strategic plan and the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Manage the organization's HR programs in order to attract, retain, and develop employees to meet organizational and position specific competencies.
    • Implement effective strategies to create a positive employee experience, enhance and support employee engagement, and advance human resources, performance development, and recruiting efforts.
    • Work with leaders to calibrate talent and continuously improve the employee experience through advancing LCI's performance development model.
    • Ensure a robust development program to support personal, professional, and leadership development across LCI.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, provide mentoring to managers and supervisors through leadership resources.
    • Support change initiatives while assuring positive employee relationships.
    • Monitor industry trends to understand potential impact to LCI and utilize key metrics to monitor organizational health.
    • Respect other opinions and concerns and value diversity in thought and action while demonstrating honesty and transparency in all interactions.
    • Drive diversity, inclusion, and belonging strategies to support the full development and high performance of all employees.
    • Motivate and lead a high-performance team; attract, recruit, and retain employees while providing mentoring and professional development.

    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of human resources management experience, including leadership of staff.
    • SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.
    • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
    • Working knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage workload to aggressive deadlines.
    • Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret related documents.
    • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and situations.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely with diverse sections of the general population and professional community.
    • Ability to identify and define issues and opportunities, analyze, and interpret various sources of complex data, and draw valid conclusions to take appropriate action.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Ability to build positive, collaborative working relationships with leaders and staff.
    • Demonstrated ability to present self with a professional, polished appearance and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
    • In addition, it is preferable for individuals in this position to have prior experience with long-term managed care; health care; and/or human services.
    • Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of adequate insurance required.
