    to the next level? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a

    Software and System Engineering Specialist .

    In this role, you'll play a vital part in the development and maintenance of mission-critical systems for the Department of Justice (DOJ).


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and maintain systems for the DOJ, focusing on discovery, optimization, and performance enhancement.
    Lead complex system software projects, ensuring timely completion under challenging time constraints.
    Provide advanced technical analysis and support for mission-critical control applications.
    Manage research, installation, enhancement, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers, VMware technologies, and more.
    Resolve system malfunctions and software issues 24x7 to ensure data integrity and accessibility for DOJ's customers.
    Serve as a project or team leader, collaborating with departmental entities and providing technical expertise.


    Desirable Qualifications:
    Structured approach to resolving complex issues, including system performance optimization.
    Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
    Experience in server networking, security, performance tuning, and backup/recovery.
    Proficiency in Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and Microsoft Windows Server configuration.
    Familiarity with VMWare technologies and infrastructure troubleshooting.
    Strong communication skills, with the ability to document workflows and solutions effectively.
    Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new technologies.
