    About Evermore

    Evermore Orlando Resort is an innovative 1,100-acre resort adjacent to Walt Disney World featuring centrally owned upscale and upsized vacation rental homes, flats & villas, a luxury Conrad hotel, 36 holes of world-class Jack Nicklaus golf, and a massive 20-acre tropical beach complex around Evermore Bay, our 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons. The surrounding beach areas feature zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private firepits, a lively food hall & gourmet market, a casual dining restaurant, and an event Boathouse that will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Evermore is building a team that will bring these experiences to life in 2023 and is seeking individuals that want the challenge of building this exciting resort experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prep food items utilizing knives, slicers, and other kitchen equipment.
    • Basic knowledge of hot and cold line stations.
    • Prep food according to the production lists utilizing a variety of equipment.
    • Wash, peel, slice, and dice fruits, vegetables, and other components as needed.
    • Prepare and assemble basic components of dishes, such as sauces, dressings, and garnishes.
    • Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies.
    • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
    • Rotate food in walking coolers and freezers to minimize waste and spoilage.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all utensils and equipment are properly stored.
    • Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
    • Assist chefs and cooks in various tasks as needed to facilitate a well-coordinated kitchen workflow.
    • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
    • Set up production items on food trams for transport.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
    • Complete safety training and certifications
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Education, Skills, and Experience

    • Minimum of one year experience as a prep cook in a restaurant and / or banquet environment
    • Proficient in using knives and other kitchen tools for cutting, chopping, and slicing ingredients accurately and efficiently.
    • Ability to read and understand recipes, instructions, and safety information in English.
    • Ability to obtain a food safety card.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Strong communication abilities to liaise with team members and convey information accurately and efficiently.
    • Capacity to thrive in a collaborative team environment, actively contributing to the shared objectives of the kitchen.
    • Willingness to embrace new opportunities for learning and growth within a dynamic culinary setting.
    • Capable of performing role in a busy work environment
    • Capable of working scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, holidays and rotating schedule.
    • Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines / instructions in English

    Physical Requirements

    • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and / or reach repeatedly.
    • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and carry, pull, and push heavy objects and materials.
    • Able to be on feet and moving around for entire shift.
    • Manual dexterity of hand to use all kitchen equipment.
    • Ability to perform duties with varying temperature ranges.
