    The ideal candidate will have very strong people skills, be adept in planning and organizing, self-directed,yet able to take direction and work as a team, be comfortable in engaging with people one-on-one, be willingto learn new information, and most importantly, be creative and highly motivated.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Manages and implements the web presence, digital initiatives, information technological, and socialmedia resources in coordination with other staff to support the Kentucky Arts Council's mission.
  • Updates, maintains, analyzes and provides basic design for the Kentucky Arts Council's website, onlineregistrations, online directories and other web-based and digital resources.
  • Develops and implements social media campaigns for agency events and activities, working closely withthe communications director to connect social media to press releases, media announcements, and other agencymessages.
  • Collaborates with staff on the technological aspects in the creation, basic design, development, andproduction of web-based and other digital materials or products including grants management, online meetings,webinars and video conferences, and marketing and advertising efforts for educational, promotional, or similarpurposes.
  • Manages, maintains, and migrates the Kentucky Arts Council database and media archives, which containhistoric and current information about the agency, its programs, fiscal operations, grants, and participants.
  • Provides technology support, develops policies, processes, and procedures regarding technology, whileeducating other staff and making recommendations to the executive director on these matters.

  • Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
    EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Four years of systems analysis, business administration, or public administration experience.
    Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Related technical or vocational training will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. A master's degree in computer science, business or public administration will substitute for one year of the experience requirement.
    Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Experience in computer programming, systems analysis, information services, research and statistics, business administration, or public administration will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
