    Description

    As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will utilize excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills to engage your team of diesel technicians, maintain good morale among your team, and ensure customer satisfaction. Regular duties include coordinating, scheduling, and auditing vehicle maintenance repairs, including preventative, mechanical, and electrical repair to tractors, trucks, and trailers.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Prioritize and assign work to meet customers' needs
    • Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske's assets
    • Control repair, inventory, and labor costs
    • Meet and exceed customer satisfaction
    • Coach and mentor technicians and Customer Service Representatives (CSRs)
    • Monitor associate work levels
    • Facility management, ensuring a clean and safe working environment

    Qualifications:

    • Ability and desire to work in a positive, fast-paced, and high-energy environment
    • 3-5 years of fleet maintenance management experience preferred or at least 3 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Associates or Technical School degree preferred
    • Strong customer service and organizational skills required
    • Valid Driver's License required
    • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications preferred

    This is a great opportunity to grow into a leadership role with Penske, where you don't need to be a mechanic. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations, ensuring that all vehicles are properly maintained and that customer expectations are met.

    You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same. You will be required to work closely with your team to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
