- Assists with preparing incentive applications for certain productions.
- Prepare workpapers for production tax credit calculations (primarily GA Film Tax Credit) utilizing production costs reports and payroll reports for both in-house and some 3rd party productions for multiple networks and shows (50+ shows annually across WBD). Gather supporting documentation such as invoices, supporting calculations, payroll reports, payment confirmations, and other schedules for audit. Work with state and independent auditors on information requests and data gathering.
- Assist with GA Film Office compliance requirements, Tax Credit Forms, and GA Tax Center filings for the GA Film Credit for multiple shows and legal entities.
- Track incentives through the overall process from project identification, incentive estimates and applications to approvals and benefit realization
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in similar capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA – nice to have, not required
- Master's degree in accounting / tax is a plus but not required – nice to have, not required
- Strong project management skills and analytical skills with the ability to work with other departments and key stakeholders.
- Good communication skills with the ability to develop strong professional relationships with internal and external parties.
- High level of attention to detail and self-starter requiring minimal supervision to resolve issues.
- Advanced computer software skills particularly in Microsoft Excel.

Your New Role...
WBD is looking for an experienced tax analyst (senior associate) to join our dynamic production incentives and tax credits team. This position will assist with several aspects of the production incentive cycle primarily for domestic productions with some involvement in international productions. This Sr Tax Analyst will focus on a few divisions of WBD but will also support other divisions as needed. The position requires the ability to perform basic research on incentive programs and eligible costs for tax credits. This role will be involved primarily in the preparation of incentive applications, compliance forms, and audit documentation for incentives.
