    Southwire Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of the Rod Mill facility.
    Conduct regular assessments and inspections of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to identify potential maintenance needs or areas for improvement.
    Utilize analytical skills to troubleshoot electrical failures, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective measures.
    Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan and execute electrical maintenance, repair, and upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
    Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies for electrical systems and components to enhance equipment reliability and extend operational lifetimes.
    Analyze electrical performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for efficiency improvements and energy savings.
    Participate in the design and implementation of new electrical systems, installations, and modifications, ensuring alignment with safety standards.
    Maintain accurate documentation of electrical maintenance activities, modifications, and repairs for regulatory compliance and informed decision-making.
    Stay current with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering to propose innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
    Collaborate with diverse teams to communicate technical information, provide expertise, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

    Education, Experience, and Skills:
    1-3 yrs experience
    Bachelors Degree-Electrical Engineering
    Preference in SAP, SCADA, PLC/Logic programming, Siemens and Rockwellpreferred.
    Rod Mill operations and Compounding experience.
