    The Senior Investment Manager at True North Companies assumes a pivotal role in spearheading investment strategies for the company and its affiliated entities on behalf of clients. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations and Asset Management, this position entails providing strategic direction, conducting thorough market trend analyses, and making sound investment decisions to optimize returns while mitigating risks. Collaboration with other administrative team members is paramount for success in this role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Manage Investor Relationships:

    · Maintain consistent communication with investors, offering regular updates on investment performance and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

    · Cultivate and nurture strong investor relationships to bolster confidence and satisfaction levels.

    2. Lead Fundraising Efforts:

    · Formulate and execute effective fundraising strategies aimed at attracting new investors and expanding the investor base.

    · Develop persuasive marketing materials and presentations to showcase investment opportunities and secure investment commitments.

    3. Oversee Investment Acquisition and Due Diligence:

    · Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, conducting meticulous due diligence, and negotiating favorable terms.

    · Ensure all acquisitions align with the company's investment strategy and risk-return profile.

    4. Develop and Execute Asset Management Strategies:

    · Implement strategies geared towards maximizing returns and minimizing risks for existing investments.

    · Monitor market conditions and property performance to make informed decisions aimed at enhancing asset value.

    5. Budget Oversight:

    · Collaborate with property management teams to develop and review operating budgets, ensuring alignment with investment objectives and financial projections.

    6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

    · Conduct regular financial analysis and forecasting to monitor investment performance.

    · Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.

    7. Investor and Lender Reporting:

    · Compile and analyze financial and operational data to prepare monthly and quarterly investor reports.

    · Ensure timely and accurate reporting to lenders, maintaining positive relationships and addressing any concerns promptly.

    8. Assist with Lender Inspections:

    · Coordinate and facilitate lender inspections of properties as required, providing necessary documentation and information to support the inspection process and ensure compliance with lender requirements.

    9. Manage Investment Opportunities in True North Holdings Investor Portal:

    · Ensure accurate and timely setup of new investment opportunities in the investor portal.

    · Provide training and support to investors on utilizing the portal effectively.

    10. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

    · Work closely with finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of investment strategies.

    · Coordinate efforts to achieve investment objectives and address any cross-functional challenges.

    11. Stay Informed of Market Trends and Developments:

    · Monitor real estate market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to identify new investment opportunities and potential risks.

    · Utilize market insights to inform investment decisions and strategies.

    12. Ensure Compliance with Regulatory Requirements and Company Policies:

    · Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure all investments and operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.

    · Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance across the organization.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
