The Transporter reflects the mission, vision and values of NM adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program and complies with all relevant policies procedures guidelines and all other regulatory accreditation standards.The Transporter is responsible for safe efficient patient transport to and from inpatient areas outpatient areas cleans distribution equipment used by patient care areas completes patient transports within set standards performs both transport Equipment Processing Distribution Department picking soiled equipment cleaning equipment delivering equipment user departments ensures functional good working order including current Clinical Engineering tags delivers non-functional CE department ensures battery charged during storage advises Patient Care Services transporting patients units discharges accurate timely documentation movements notifies nurse responsible prior transports obtains Ticket Ride transports patients guests safely using appropriate techniques adheers PPE policies proper handling chemicals follow established infection control isolation guidelines provides overview room contents personal items bed controls room service etc assists care areas lifts requiring people knowledge hospital lift devices maxi slides responds code procedures determined location assist Cadence Health Fall Prevention initiative positioning correcting bed rails up everything arm reach cords floor alarm hooked back complete transport delays cancellations reports call center upon completion removing trash linen discharge
