    We opened our new Lincoln clinic just about 6 months ago, and we are already needing to add a PTA to our team. Our clinic revolutionizes patient care, as we bring the best of medical care, the best of physical therapy, and the best of chiropractic care... but all under one roof working together. Our teams meet together every day to discuss our cases to ensure we are not only treating our patient's initial concerns, but that we are helping to solve the source of our patient's ailments to prevent further pathology.

    As a PTA at Schrock Medical Clinic, you will be assisting in the retention of long-term quality patients for our clinic through careful attention to our service delivery systems, which were designed to exceed the patient's needs and expectations. You will be responsible for looking at the body as a whole as we go through our treatment plans, as we help our patients receive the most comprehensive care.

    Performance Objectives

    Performing routine treatment such as screens, executing treatment plans, and delivering treatment under the supervision of the Physical Therapist

    Assisting the Physical Therapist in carrying out procedures and programs

    Communicating treatment needs and planning with the patient

    Collaborate with team personnel to achieve a well-rounded and integrated care plan

    Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery

    Record and document patient progress

    Capabilities/Key Competencies

    Strong experience administering a wide range of physical therapy techniques

    Experience assisting and working alongside Physical Therapists and other medical providers

    Knowledge of responsible use of facility equipment, best practices for equipment use and preventative maintenance procedures.

    Experience with a wide range of patient age groups and injuries.

    A strong sense of empathy, a compassionate outlook and the ability to motivate patients into pushing their limits in a responsible, safe way.

    Education and Experience

    Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, as well as state licensure

    Able to perform proper body mechanics without posing a risk of injury to self or others

    Ability to lift and control 50+ pounds

    2+ years of clinic experience delivering physical therapy services preferred
