    PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center in Florence, Oregon is seeking a MRI Technologist for a Full Time, 0.90 FTE, Variable position.

    The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $44.25-$66.37.

    The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.

    • This position will be scheduled Friday, Saturday and Sunday
    • The ideal applicant will be certified/licensed to cover MRI as well as X-ray and/or CT.

    DETAILS OF POSITION:

    • Responsible for performing all routine and specialized MRI procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.
    • Operates MRI scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction and documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
    • Applies the ACR Guidance Document for Safe MR Practices to ensure patient, visitor and caregiver safety.
    • Performs other patient care activities, duties and responsibilities as assigned consistent with Caregivers' scope of practice, training, experience and license/certification/registration.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    WHAT YOU BRING:

    • Accredited School Required: Radiologic Technology or equivalent education and/or experience as required for obtaining certification/license/registration as required by State for clinical practice.
    • Minimum of 1 year previous experience in MRI preferred.
    • Multi-modality tech strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated venipuncture competency required.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, procedures, physiology, and human cross-sectional anatomy.
    • Demonstrated competency in computer-based programs as they relate to MR applications.
    • PACS/RIS knowledge required; ImageCast/CareCast experience preferred.
    • ARRT (R)(MR) or ARRT (R)(MR)(CT) preferred
    • Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support.
    • Registered with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) required. Must maintain active registry with the State of Oregon.
