- Develop and teach curriculum across multiple subject areas that engages all students
- Ensure that all students achieve key learning outcomes and developmental growth
- Build a warm learning atmosphere that leads students to value being at school and feel part of a rigorous and joyful learning community
- Collaborate closely with the Preschool Director and a team of Teacher Assistants to continually improve student learning, recognize issues students are facing, and recommend solutions
- Inspire trust and confidence among parents and families through relationship building, which includes strong spoken and written communication
- Foster strong relationships with families and parents
- Complying with state, school, and class rules and regulations
- Must hold an infant & child CPR certificate
- Must have experience with writing developmentally appropriate lessons for students
- Must have experience with creating classroom activities
- Must have a compassionate and positive attitude as well as the ability to create a warm nurturing and creative classroom environment for children
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities

- Graduate degree in education, teaching or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator teaching children between the ages of 2-5, but not required
- Bachelors OR Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred with 90 hour minimum, but not required
