- Graduation from a Physical Therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (CAPTE)
- Physical Therapist License issued by the State of Alabama
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Will work in any of three areas: acute hospital setting, swing bed unit, or outpatient clinic
- Provide comprehensive evaluations and testing, physical therapy treatments and education to patients with observed abnormalities in accordance with State Regulations and departmental policies.
- Plans, develops and implements a result-oriented treatment plan responsive to the individualized needs of the patient and includes clear, measurable goals. Modifies the treatment plan according to the patient's responses.
- Communicates regularly with members of the patient care team, the patient, family members and others involved with the patient's care.
- Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
