    Administer, maintain, and support the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate and timely entry of employee information, payroll data, and status changes.


    • Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting for HRIS and related accounting/ancillary systems (e.g., payroll, timekeeping, AP automation, expense reporting).
    • Coordinate with software vendors for upgrades, testing, and integrations between HRIS, payroll, and accounting systems.
    • Process bi-weekly payroll, including calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, deductions, and taxes.
    • Maintain payroll records and investigate/resolve discrepancies.
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions.
    • Prepare and submit required payroll and benefits reports (e.g., quarterly tax filings, retirement plan contributions).
    • Compile 401(k) employee withholdings and employer contributions for each payroll and transmit through the plan administrator's platform.
    • Prepare and record recurring monthly journal entries and supporting schedules.
    • Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of variances and accuracy of cash balances.
    • Enter vendor invoices and owner/member payments as required, serving as backup to AP/AR staff.
    • Support internal and external audit requests related to payroll, HRIS, and general ledger activity.
    • Assist with process improvements, automation, and systems efficiencies across HR and accounting functions.
    Requirements

    • Associate degree and at least 2 years relevant experience required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred.
    • Prior experience with payroll processing, general ledger, and HRIS/payroll systems required; experience with ancillary accounting platforms preferred.
    • Accounting experience with country clubs or property owners' associations is ideal, but not required.
    • Ability to manage and maintain sensitive and confidential employee and financial information.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort in systems administration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
    • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) and proficiency with accounting and HRIS software.
