- Responsible fordelivering new and retreaded tires and related products to customer and companylocations
- Responsible for pickingup casings and return them to store location for retreading
- Loading and unloading oftires
- Process paperwork and ensure all pickup and deliveries have the proper paperwork
- Some moderate to heavy lifting of tires is required
- Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Possess basic mathematical skills
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram form
- Computer skills: Basic computer skills; training will be provided as needed

Pete's Tire Barns was started by Peter A. Gerry in 1968 andhas grown to one of the largest independent tire dealerships in the country.Pete's currently operates 22 full-service locations in New England, astate-of-the art Distribution Center, 3 Bandag retreadfacilities, employs in excess of 300 people, and operates a fleet of over 100service and delivery vehicles. Today, approximately 90% of our business is inthe commercial truck tire and related markets. Pete's serviceseverything from a wheelbarrow tire up to an earthmover tire.
Qualifications:
Exerts 75 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of forceconstantly to move objects. Frequently reaches (extending hands and arms in anydirection), handles (seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or working withhands), and identifies and distinguishes colors. Occasionally climbs (ascendsor descends ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like), balances. Occasionallystoops (bending the body downward and forward by bending at the waist, legs andspine), and kneels (bending the legs at knee to come to rest on knee or knees).
