Job DescriptionA Fortune 100 employer in the Financial Services industry is looking for a Software Engineer to join its team. This person will be part of an exciting and cutting-edge organization devoted to growing its credit and collections platform.
The Developer's primary focus will be developing backend components and solving complex application development tasks for both new and existing components.
As part of a SAFe agile scrum team, they will be coordinating with users, test, and functional analysts to determine requirements and ensure the system improvements are successfully implemented and continuously deployed.
The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge with hands-on Java development with at least version 7, and experience creating and consuming REST API's from scratch.
The team is currently building out the user interface, so knowledge of frontend languages such as JavaScript, CSS and HTML is required, and frameworks such as React, Vue and or Angular is preferred.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree + 4 years' experience (or equivalent work experience)
4 years' experience developing with Java, recently with Java 8+ and strong understanding of object-oriented design principles
Experience with Oracle or Couchbase (or related relational and nonrelational databases)
Experience building spring boot microservices
Experience securing APIs
Knowledge of big data concepts
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment and related tools (git, Jenkins)
Knowledge or experience with an enterprise cloud Experience building component-based applications with React/Redux (or Angular or Vue) null
