    JOB SUMMARY:
    This manager position reports to the Vice President of Operations. This position will oversee all activities for Quality Assurance of products and processes developed to meet manufacturing objectives.

    Primary responsibilities include; ensuring TSI's quality policies are compliant with current customer requirements, overseeing the implementation of procedures required to comply with those policies, maintaining or improving customer satisfaction levels related to quality performance, and assisting in the development of Lean Manufacturing principles, policies, and procedures to promote reduction of waste, continuous improvement and goal achievement for customer and plant performance measurables.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
    Guides internal teams to ensure compliance to required customer standards and, that corporate quality objectives are met.

    Develops and implements organizational lean manufacturing and quality initiatives to increase operational efficiencies.

    Manages and evaluates the Quality Assurance department to ensure appropriate training and consistency in the inspection processes. Works with the Manufacturing Manager to reduce quality defects and scrap.

    Manages, evaluates, and drives continuous improvement efforts in the customer oriented processes for Quality Assurance and Information Management.

    Serves as the primary contact for all IATF and ISO related audits and activities.

    Ensures that TSI's systems and processes meet the requirements of our customers, the industries we serve, and the standards to which the organization subscribes.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    Experience:


    The incumbent must have well-developed organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills in interacting with management, line level staff, suppliers, and customers.

    Proficient with window based personal computers and related software.

    Reasoning Development:

    Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables.

    Mathematical Development

    :

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide all units of measure; calculate formulas; draw and interpret graphs.

    Language Development:


    Ability to read customer blueprints, technical journals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; prepare business letters, summaries, and reports, using a prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style; speak with poise and confidence, using correct English.

    Licensures and Certifications :

    None required.

    Education:

    High school diploma, required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or three years relevant work experience, preferred.
