Job Summary: As a Frame Stylist / Optical Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expert advice to clients seeking premium eyewear products. Your knowledge of high-end frames, lenses, and dispensing techniques will be essential in guiding our customers through the selection process and ensuring they leave with an eyewear solution that meets their needs and preferences. Additionally, your expertise in lens edging will contribute to maintaining the quality and precision of the final product.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service and Sales:Greet customers warmly and assist them in a friendly and professional manner.
Understand clients' visual requirements and style preferences to recommend suitable frame and lens options.
Provide personalized styling advice to help customers select frames that enhance their facial features and lifestyle.
Utilize excellent sales techniques to upsell lens enhancements, coatings, and accessories as appropriate.

Product Knowledge:Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of high-end premium frames and their unique features.
Stay up-to-date with the latest eyewear trends and collections from various renowned designers.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of various lens types, materials, and coatings, including the benefits of each.

Dispensing Expertise:Accurately interpret prescriptions and discuss lens options with customers.
Utilize precise measurements to ensure proper lens fitting and alignment in frames.
Assist with adjustments, repairs, and maintenance of eyewear to guarantee optimal comfort and function.

Lens Edging:Utilize lens edging equipment to shape and finish lenses according to prescription and frame requirements.
Ensure the lenses' dimensions and curvature align perfectly with the selected frames.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality control throughout the lens edging process.

Administrative Tasks:Manage and maintain customer records and prescriptions in compliance with company policies.
Handle sales transactions efficiently and accurately, including processing payments and insurance claims.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in optical sales, frame styling, and lens dispensing in a high-end eyewear environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of premium frames, lens types, and lens enhancements.
• Proficiency in lens edging using automated edging equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in measurements and lens fitting.
