    JOB SUMMARY

  • This position is responsible for: collecting blood for laboratory analysis and performing point of care testing for bleeding time. This position is also responsible for processing clinical specimens utilizing the modular pre-analytic system, as well as provide assistance to technical staff in the laboratory as needed.
  • This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process / Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.

  • Education/Training/Experience:
  • REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent
  • PREFERRED: Computer experience
  • License/Certifications/Special Requirements: N/A
  • Pay Status: NON-EXEMPT HOURLY
