The Division of General Internal Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington is currently accepting online applications for up to 5 faculty positions at the Assistant Associate or full Professor rank in the Clinical Practice trackResponsibilities
- Providing direct patient care medical record documentation and billing for patient care and clinical oversight of trainees medical students residents and fellows
- In addition to clinical work teaching scholarship and service are integral to all Clinical Practice positions
- Initial appointment period will be three years with eligibility for renewal thereafter
- Faculty on the clinical practice track hold multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period July-June Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period July-June meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off
