- Responsible for set up and prepare machines according to daily production specifications
- Prepare equipment and ensure production settings are accurate
- Monitor daily operation of machinery, adjusting settings as necessary
- Load and unload setups, breakdowns, and operating equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Operate related equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and power tools when required
- Follow written specifications
- Maintain accurate logs and monitor equipment to ensure it is producing the proper output
- Perform housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean workplace
- Use personal protective equipment as required by the job, which may include but not limited to the wearing of safety vest, gloves, and eye protection
- Perform duties safely, responsibly, and proficiently, observing and complying with all safety and health rules (OSHA, MTI, and SDS Standards), including safe operation of all equipment
- Reports all accidents to supervisor immediately
- Co-ordinate with outside machine shops any necessary fixtures and special machining
- Collaborate with manufacturers, internal department, and support staff to accomplish both team and company goals
