- Performs psychological evaluations of patients with diagnosis of PTSD, as well as a variety of postdeployment adjustment difficulties, with a primary emphasis on veterans deployed into a combat zone.
- Provides a full range of therapeutic interventions to patients served by the PTSD Clinical Team, including: evidencebased treatments for PTSD (including but not limited to Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (Ml), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), individual and group psychotherapy, couples and family therapy, psychoeducation, and outreach services to community and other federal government entities. Modalities may include using telemental health technology.
- Provide psychotherapy via telehealth technology, including VA Video Connection for inhome services.
- Clinical services are provided under the supervision of the PCT Team Supervisor, a licensed psychologist.
- Provides clinical supervision to Psychology interns and practicum students training with the PCT
- Is actively involved in the Psychology Training Program and is a member of the Training Committee.
- Is involved in the training of medical students, psychiatric residents, and nursing students who train in the PCT.
- Serves as a consultant to other Mental Health Services staff and trainees with regard to PTSD issues and assists in their formulation of the psychological characteristics and appropriate treatment expectations regarding their patients.
- Serves on Psychology Service and Mental Health Services workgroups and committees as assigned.

Summary
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program.
You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.
Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.
