    Overview

    LMI is seeking a Business Operations Professional with Contracts Management experience to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) J9 Hosting and Compute (HaC). This professional will perform requirements analysis and integration support tasks for a large cloud contract. This position requires a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance. This posiition is largely remote but will require candidates who live within a commutable distance to Washington, DC area as occasional site visits may be required and on short notice.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist requirement owners with gathering, developing, refining, assessing, documenting, and maintaining requirements with stakeholder input.
    • Advise and assist managers and supervisors in carrying out their responsibilities for establishing reasonable and appropriate performance standards and evaluating, rewarding, and correcting performance as appropriate.
    • Assist with contract administration and budget information.
    • Manages correspondence processes for the Government Leadership (e.g., formal letters, memoranda, read-ahead briefing/meeting packages, activity reports, and senior leadership reports); and tracks deliverables to ensure timeliness.
    • Assist in developing and conducting performance management training for DISA managers and supervisors.
    • Assist government leads with conducting annual capability gap and requirements validation assessments in response to emerging threats, changing guidance and realignment of mission priorities.
    • Develop executive-level Business Case Analysis Briefings for assigned projects.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • US Citizen with a current DoD Secret Clearance.
    • 5+ years related experience.
    • Demonstrates a basic understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the contract management lifecycle.
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
    • Experience as an acquisition analyst/project analyst/coordinator.
    • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
    • Assist requirement owners with refining, assessing, documenting, and maintaining requirements in preparation for review board meetings to convey key program objectives, their relative contributions to the mission, and estimated costs.
    • Ability to speak with confidence and energy in public, in person, over the phone, and with senior executives when necessary.
    • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership.
    • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills – including the ability to develop solutions in new and creative ways.
    • Comfortable in a fast paced/dynamic environment.

    Desired:

    • 2 years' experience in defense acquisition and contracting.
    • DAWIA Contracting or National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Certification.
    • Knowledge of DoD Acquisition Regulation, large scale cloud implementations, and IT Systems Engineering.
