    has an exciting opportunity in our Global Grain and Processing Group. We are looking for a Controls Engineer to join our growing team in Fairmont, MN.

    You must be a self-starter, organized and detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and able to work well independently.

    This role is onsite in Fairmont, MN.
    Responsibilities

    Develop, maintain, document and troubleshoot process control PLC's, computers, servers, networks and programs for all Oilseed Processing facilities.
    Participate in the selection and installation of process controls and computers with interface to control instrumentation.
    Create and maintain plant data collection and reporting systems.

    Program Allen Bradley / Rockwell PLC's in ladder logic and using AOI's, create and maintain equipment tag database and configure HMI screens.

    Maintain documentation and records for the process control and computer systems.
    Understand and draw electrical wiring diagrams.
    Collaborate and work with outside vendors, contractors, production and engineering.
    Provide on call 24/7 after-hours support on an as needed basis.
    Perform work in a combination of both office and industrial environments depending on project needs.
    Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
    Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
    Minimum Qualifications (required)

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
    2+ years of experience in computers, electronics and PLC's with a full understanding ofinterfacebetween field instrumentation, PLC's and computers
    Additional Qualifications

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    Experience with Rockwell Historian/OSI Pi, PTC Thingworx and VantagePoint data collection and reporting systems
    Experience with other controls systems including DeltaV and Foxboro
    Experience with SQL database administration
    Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET programming
    Experience with field instrumentation, AutoCAD and Allen Bradley PLC programming
    Advanced knowledgeof plant construction and ability to effectively manage medium to large sized projects
    Familiar with construction and consulting organizations
    Strong verbal and written communication skills
    Ability to travel up to 30% travelwith potential for extended periods of time on location
