    Registered Respiratory Therapist

    Cleveland Clinic's Fairview Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and advanced healthcare environment.

    About the Role

    This position requires a registered respiratory therapist with experience in providing evidence-based clinical care to critically ill patients, including pediatric and neonatal populations. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment, treatment, and care skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate and treat patients with various lung diseases and respiratory disorders, such as asthma, bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, emphysema, COPD, and lung cancer.
    • Float to multiple Cleveland Clinic locations to perform respiratory care services for geriatric, adult, and pediatric populations in various inpatient settings, including critical care, obstetrics, ED (Emergency Department), and behavioral health.
    • Provide night shift coverage, 7pm-7:30am, with rotating weekend and holiday requirements.

    Requirements

    • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
    • Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) Board Licensure.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior neonatal/pediatric critical care experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification.
