Field Service Engineer

We're looking for field service engineers who enjoy working on industrial equipment and excel at solving complex technical issues. If this seems like you, perhaps you're the rockstar that Schmoll America is looking for We're seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team, responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting sophisticated mechanical drilling and routing equipment within our North American customer base. The job will be based in the Boston, MA area, and will lead to extensive travel across North America, plus an occasional trip to Germany. It is preferred you have some electro-mechanical experience, but mostly a willingness to satisfy the customer

Responsibilities:
Service local New England customers, as well as travel up to 75% of the time servicing other customers across North America. Duties performed-
Installation & Commissioning
Preventive Maintenance
Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively
Provide exceptional customer service and support
Collaborate with customers, Schmoll sales and service teams
Document service activities and maintain accurate records
Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and technical developments
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in machine installations and maintenance
OR
4-year engineering degree
Consistent performance with strong attention to detail
Ability to excel under pressure to bring equipment into production
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and passport
