    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years hospital experience and an active DC license for an 8-hour shift assignment.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a hospital setting
    13-week contract with 8-hour shifts
    Full-time schedule with 40 hours per week
    Assignment requires living at least 25 miles from the facility
    Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive evaluation, treatment planning, and occupational therapy services
    Conduct detailed clinical assessments and develop age-appropriate care plans based on physician referral and evaluation findings
    Accurately document patient treatments and respond effectively to changing assignments
    No local candidates within 25 miles will be considered for this assignment

    Requirements
    Current, active Occupational Therapist license in DC (no pending licenses allowed; license required if applicable)
    Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience in a US hospital
    Bachelor's degree from an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy program required; Master's degree highly desired
    BLS certification (AHA only) required
    CPI certification required
    Effective verbal and written communication skills required
    Social Security Number required for consideration
    References from two managers or supervisors preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer
