    What You Can Expect

    The Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented and passionate HR intern, focusing on the area of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. This position is a remote opportunity, working with a virtual team of Talent COE professionals. When you come to work at ZB as a DEI Intern, you can expect to provide HR project support, lead assigned projects with leadership oversight, support global employee resource groups, and ultimately, help drive positive change for a global organization of 17,000+ team members.

    How You'll Create Impact


    • Support the strategic Diversity, Equity and Inclusion roadmap utilizing processes and tools designed to improve the organization in partnership with DEI leads and Global Talent Team.


    • Contribute to the employee/business resource group strategy, including: support of ERG leaders, coordination of diversity events and initiatives, and contributing to the development of key processes and tools. Work in partnership with ERG and DEI leaders to leverage ERGS in the areas of attraction, recruitment, development, advancement and retention.


    • Aid with the day-to-day duties and projects of the Talent Team, which includes Learning and Development, Talent Management, Culture and Engagement and Talent Acquisition initiatives.


    • Benchmark external inclusion & diversity best practices to identify new ideas for developing inclusive and diverse cultures.


    • Help track the progress of DEI strategies against key metrics set by HR leadership. Prepare reports, presentations, business communications, data summaries, and other documents. Perform analyses to draw inferences of conclusions.


    • Collaborate with the DEI, Talent and HR team on the development and implementation of programs and initiatives across the global organization.


    • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to deliver on inclusion & diversity projects.


    • Complete a summer-long project related to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion that will improve ZB practices. Present findings virtually to the HR team.

    Your Background


    • Must be actively enrolled an academic program for the entire duration of the assignment.


    • Pursuit of Bachelor's Degree with at least a sophomore level standing in human resources management, labor relations, business administration, or related field.


    • GPA of 3.2+ preferred.
